Önder Savunma Shared the Development of Gökbörü Air Defense Systems
Gökbörü Air Defense Systems, one of Türkiye’s most significant projects in the field of indigenous and national air defense, continues to advance rapidly.
“Gökbörü” Air Defense Systems, one of Türkiye’s most significant projects in the field of indigenous and national air defense, continues to advance rapidly. The project, named by the Chairman of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), Mr. Devlet Bahçeli, is being carried out by Önder Savunma, which shared key information regarding the system’s development.
Chairman of the Board and founder of Önder Savunma, Mr. Günay Önder, together with his engineering team, visited MHP Chairman Mr. Devlet Bahçeli to provide a briefing on the Air Defense Systems. Mr. Bahçeli expressed his satisfaction with the progress, underlining that they have supported the project from the beginning.
Mr. Bahçeli stated: “The Gökbörü systems are advancing day by day. Türkiye’s breakthroughs in this field are a source of pride for all of us.”
Önder Savunma officials emphasized that Türkiye has made remarkable progress in radar technologies, air defense systems, fire control systems, and urban security. They conveyed their confidence that the “Gökbörü” project, with its advancing technology, will achieve significant success in the near term.
Company representatives further expressed optimism about Türkiye’s advancements in this domain and highlighted the potential of the “Gökbörü” systems, underscoring that such projects will reinforce Türkiye’s position in the field of air defense.
