Önder Savunma Showcased Indigenous Technologies at IDEF 2025

Advanced Technology Products Attracted Attention
Among the exhibited products were critical defense technologies such as AESA radar systems, fire control systems, electronic warfare devices, and the Urban Security Management System (KGYS). These systems, developed for use in land, air, and naval platforms, drew significant interest from visitors.
Notable products included AESA radar systems with a detection range of up to 7 kilometers, as well as fire control systems developed for the truck-mounted 155 mm howitzer and the 105 mm BORAN howitzer. These technologies are designed to enhance the operational capabilities of the Turkish Armed Forces.
Global Success and Domestic Utilization
The Urban Security Management System developed by Önder Savunma is actively in use across 81 provinces and 950 districts in Türkiye. With infrastructure enabling the centralized management of more than 150,000 cameras, it stands as one of the largest capacity systems worldwide. The system is in high demand both domestically and internationally, playing a critical role in security management.
Sanctions Strengthened Domestic Production
Chairman of the Board of Önder Savunma A.Ş., Mr. Günay Önder, stated that the sanctions encountered in recent years have driven the company to develop stronger and more independent domestic solutions. In his statement, he remarked:
"The Turkish defense industry is rapidly advancing towards becoming a powerful global actor. Our company will continue to contribute to the objective of technological independence in the defense sector by sustaining its investments in research and development."
